VAYU weighs just 42 grams, lighter than most prescription frames. It features a 12-hour battery, dual micro-OLED displays, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, 6-mic array with spatial audio, and titanium-alloy frame construction. The display is visible only to the wearer and offers adjustable brightness for indoor and outdoor use.

VAYU comes in two frame sizes: Standard (140mm width) and Wide (148mm width). We recommend trying both if possible. All frames are designed to look and feel like premium eyewear, not a tech gadget.

Yes. VAYU supports prescription and non-prescription lenses. During pre-order, you can indicate that you need prescription lenses and our team will coordinate with you to get the correct specifications. We partner with certified optical labs across India.

VAYU Essentials ships in Obsidian Black and Titanium Gold. MedPro is available in Clinical White and Slate Grey. LegalEdge comes in Obsidian Black and Deep Burgundy. Additional colours and limited editions will be announced throughout 2026.

VAYU supports 50+ languages for live translation, including all 22 scheduled languages of India (Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, and more) plus major international languages. Translation works both ways: spoken and visual (sign/text).

VAYU Essentials shipping starts soon. MedPro and LegalEdge editions from Q3 2026. Pre-orders are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. You'll receive tracking information via email and SMS once your order ships.

We offer a 7-day return policy from the date of delivery. The item must be in its original condition: unworn, unused, with tags and original packaging intact. You'll need your receipt or proof of purchase. Contact us at team@vayuglasses.in to initiate a return.

VAYU comes with a 12-month limited warranty covering the device and charging kit. This includes manufacturing defects and functional failures under normal use, plus firmware and software updates during the warranty period. Accidental damage, liquid damage, and third-party modifications are excluded.

VAYU MedPro may qualify as a medical device expense depending on your specific health plan and usage. We recommend consulting with your benefits administrator or tax advisor for eligibility in your region.

Privacy is core to VAYU's architecture. Audio is processed on-device and deleted after use unless you explicitly save it. The display is private: only visible to the wearer. Camera recording requires a visible LED indicator. All data is encrypted end-to-end, and we never sell personal data. VAYU MedPro is built on HIPAA-compliant infrastructure, and LegalEdge features client-attorney privilege encryption.

Core VAYU features work out of the box with no subscription. Advanced AI features, cloud memory storage, and professional-grade tools (clinical databases, legal libraries) are available through VAYU Pro, an optional subscription. Pricing will be announced closer to the general release.

Yes. The VAYU companion app is available for both Android (8.0+) and iOS (15+). The app handles memory recall, settings, lens configuration, and firmware updates. VAYU is designed to work seamlessly with both platforms.
